This November, Pointwest executives will fly to the United Kingdom as part of a trade delegation to the Philippine Business Forum in London 2009. On November 16 and 17, at the Park Lane Sheraton Hotel, Philippine government representatives and Philippine ICT (information and communications technology) industry players will come together to talk about the advantages of and opportunities in outsourcing and offshoring in the Philippines.

Pointwest is at the 2010 CeBIT in Hannover, Germany

Pointwest Technologies Corporation will be attending the upcoming 2010 Centrum der Büro- und Informationstechnik (CeBIT) trade fair in Hannover, Germany, as an Exhibitor, on March 2-6, 2010. At CeBIT, Pointwest will showcase its extensive experience in providing outsourced software services using enterprise-level Java, Microsoft, PHP and mainframe technologies. Pointwest also has industry expertise in transportation, gas, banking and e-commerce.

CeBIT is considered the world’s largest and most important trade fair to date, showcasing digital information technology and communication solutions. This year’s theme focuses on economic transformation, and targets decision-makers from the ICT industry. A spot during this event opens up opportunities into the European market, providing both publicity and a venue for exploring business leads.

Pointwest is the largest Filipino-owned global service company offering outsourcing in both the business process (BPO) and information technology (ITO) sectors. An SEI-CMM level 3 company, it has made its presence felt in the continental USA, New Zealand, Australia and the United Kingdom. Pointwest’s attendance is sponsored by The Netherlands’ Centre for the Promotion of Imports from developing countries (CBI), as part of its ongoing IT Information Technology Outsourcing (ITO) Export Coaching Program (ECP), a multi-year business development program for selected emerging markets in developing countries that are targeting the European Union (EU).
